At Little Muddy Griffons, we breed AKC-registered Wirehaired Pointing Griffons—versatile, intelligent, loyal dogs that are both devoted family companions and exceptional working partners. Located in western North Dakota, our journey with bird dogs began over a decade ago through hunting, training, and a deep appreciation for the bond between people and dogs. Discovering the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon—with their grit, affection, and incredible versatility—truly captured our hearts.

Our Griffons are first and foremost working dogs. Throughout the hunting season, they are in the field doing what they were bred to do—pointing, retrieving, and covering ground with determination. In the off-season, they enjoy time at the lake, outdoor adventures, and being part of everyday family life. They are dogs that excel in the field while still being loving, loyal members of the family,
